IMBER’s third IMBIZO* symposium will be held in Goa, India from 28-31 January 2013.

The overall theme of IMBIZO lll is:
The future of marine biogeochemistry, ecosystems and societies.
Multi-dimensional approaches to the challenges of global change in continental margins and open ocean systems
We invite you to send us ideas of potential topics for one or more of the three concurrent workshops that make up the major part of the IMBIZO. These should be related to the overall theme of the meeting and should promote collaboration between the natural and social sciences.
Please send a short description of the proposed workshop topic, together with potential conveners to Lisa Maddison (Lisa.Maddison@univ-brest.fr) before 15 November 2011.
