Dear Colleagues,

The 20th International Symposium on Environmental Biogeochemistry is scheduled
to be held in historic Istanbul, Turkey, from September 27 to 30, 2011.  With
the abstract submission deadline less than a month away, I am writing to
encourage you to participate in the meeting.

Contributions are welcome for the special and general sessions.  I especially
urge young investigators and graduate students to attend.   The meeting has
always been an excellent place for one-on-one interactions that are crucial
for building and sustaining a world-wide research network.
