Ecosystem modeller wanted at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory

Vacancy: Ecosystem modeller at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory (UK). The primary aim is to understand and ultimately predict how benthic ecosystems respond to high CO2 and some of the proposed CO2 mitigation strategies; in particular ocean acidification, a risk analysis of carbon capture and storage and impacts of renewable energy installations (e.g. offshore wind farms). Building on existing model systems, the post holder will be expected to develop and analyse the model, liaising with other scientists and presenting results to a variety of stakeholders.
