
Save the dates for OCB2027 in person June 21-25, 2027
2026 marks 20 years since OCB Project Office began in 2006 to support science, community, and connection across the vast network of scientists who study ocean carbon and biogeochemistry.
To celebrate all the accomplishments of the community across these two decades OCB is holding a 1 day virtual symposium on November 18, 2026.
The symposium will consist of topical 1-hour plenary sessions highlighting the accomplishments, advances, and state of the science, plus community + discussion segments:

Biological Pump
Carbon Removal
GEOTRACES to BioGeoSCAPES

The November 18 event will start at 11am Eastern, 10am Central, 9am Mountain, 8am West Coast, 6am Hawaii time, and run approx. 8-9 hours with numerous breaks.
